Dating outside your culture speeddating in kent

When you throw in difference of cultures, tribes and then parental resistance to the mixture, it is twice as hard. However, it can easily begin to feel like a trap, dungeon, death cage. I personally think culture is a great tool for self identity and self discovery.I have to ask, was it their differences that drew you to them in the first place? And if so, why change what you really liked about them.I think it was mainly jealousy, because I had the guts to do what I wanted to do, regardless of societal mores. I think it is a very interesting and ever rewarding experience to date someone outside my "culture" because I wind up learning a lot of new, interesting, and fun things about the culture itself....That may be tied into my love for learning new things though. And just like that, your heart breaks into a billion pieces.

My opinion, in those situations, its way easier to face the scorn of the world, if you have your loved ones behind you.I've never had a problem with others who can work it out, I just won't do it again myself.I have also seen others who came from different cultures and it just couldn't work and it was extremely difficult for their son.I do refuse to date any men who strongly believe that women are a) worthless, b) should be hidden, c) are property, or d) crap and should be treated like dirt. my experience dating (also marrying and divorcing) outside of my culture has led me to realize it is not the big, obvious differences that can trip you up.Its my person belief that both male and female are equal and if his culture minimizes when females in developed worlds have faught for then I get rid of him... Because you can see them coming, they are fairly easy for two willing people to address, sort out and compromise. They can be surprising and perplexing, not just to the other person but also to yourself.Because those are the people who matter in your life, as opposed to a stranger on the street or in a restaurant. Some families or certain members were raised in areas and times that make it hard for them to accept members of other cultures.Now-a-days, people still stare sometimes, but not nearly as much as 20 years ago. I have no problem with "dating outside my culture".In the past, there've been neighbors who stopped speaking to me because of my choice in men. Im German (born and raised in Canada, though) and have native Native Americans several times, and most were very dedicated to every aspect of their culture.Whether this stems from past upsets or situations..just who they are. If you are serious about that person and it is something that you want you have to be willing to take risks. And as far as trying to change someone to fit your culture...

  1. The biggest thing one learns when dating someone from a different culture is patience and understanding. Not everyone is raised the same way you were.

  2. While marrying someone from a different culture or religion can present some. Marriage outside of the race or culture was seen as a disruption of a sense.

  3. What are the challenges to dating outside of one's race. When dating same race/culture. when you date someone from your own race vs. dating outside your.
