He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Billy Gene Alexander; and sisters, Lorene Jackson, Lucille Byington, and Sarah Walker.He is survived by his brother, Hubert Alexander; two sisters, Pauline Walker and Virginia Bolen; three sons, Phillip Alexander, Ledon Alexander, and Leroy Alexander Jr.; three daughters, La Doria Williams, Claudine Malone, and Elizabeth Beck; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday Nov. Leroy Alexander, age 74, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1945, in San Diego, Calif., to Nave Junior and Nancy Alice (Casteel) Abbiss. Eddie served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. Eddie was a member of First Christian Church, in Wewoka. She is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Willie Williams officiating, and interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. 24, 1968, in Wewoka, and to this marriage two children were born. They moved to Seminole 31 years ago from Del City to become cattle ranchers.Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Tilkens, of Norman and Bonnie Gibson and her husband Jimmy, of Mounds; four sons, Thomas Jones and his wife Roseann, of Seminole, Paul Alexander and his wife Ann, of Tecumseh, Marvin Alexander, of Shawnee and David Alexander and his wife Melia, of Hartsville, Tenn.She had 32 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and friend, she will be missed dearly.A memorial service was held Thursday July 9, 2009 at 4 p.m. She served as secretary of the Benevolent Fund, was a member of the Sunday School and ladies missionary society. Honorary Pallbearers will be his son-in-laws, Harold Williams, Allen Beck, Roy Yargee, and Troy Yargee.On June 4, 1989 he was ordained as a Baptist Minister.He married Katherine Jo Hawkins March, 2, 1967, in Midwest City.
